AQUASTERA/ASUV Series

AQUASTERA is a DVGW certified UVC water disinfection system that is used to reliably disinfect drinking water by pumping it through a stainless steel UVC reactor, subjecting it to high energy UVC rays for rapid and efficient disinfection. The UVC light removes unwanted microorganisms without the use of chemicals, while guaranteeing that the water retains all of its valuable minerals.

Ideal for use in the drinking water supply in public and commercial sectors, hospitals and clinics, food industry, clean and ultra-pure water disinfection, industrial process water, cold and hot water systems, pharmaceutical and chemical industry, beverage industry, Swimming pools and SPAs.

The products in the ASUV series are easy to assemble and install, can be easily integrated into existing pressure lines, and energy-efficient with minimum running cost.

How does WDS work?

The water pumped into the WDS unit where the water is passed around high efficiency UVC emitting lamps mounted inside the chamber, subjecting it to the high energy UVC rays, which effectively deactivates 99.99% of the microorganisms.

It can be used as an addition to flow lines or for circulation of holding tanks.

The disinfection process is odour neutral, fault-free and produces no residue, since it runs on a purely physical basis and requires no chemicals

Technical Specification

ASUV is available in multiple sizes, ASUV27 - ASUV1250-F, offering flow rates between 2.8 up to 140 m³/h. Multiple units can be installed in parallel to ramp up capacity to suit your requirements.

AQUASTERA works at a dose of 400J/m², as verified by biometric testing and certified by the DVGW (German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water), well known internationally for its the top ranking strict standards.
